Privacy Policy — Tactix11

Tactix11 ("Tactix11", "we", "us") is a soccer team management platform available as an iPhone app and at tactix11.com. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the app, the website, and public team pages we host.

1. Information we collect

Account information — your email address, display name, and an optional profile photo. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and are never visible to us in plain text.
Team and roster information — team names, rosters (player names, jersey numbers, positions), schedules, RSVPs, lineups, and roles (coach, manager, player, parent, spectator).
Sports performance data — match events, statistics, report cards, self-assessments, goals, and development notes recorded by coaches, players, or parents.
Content you share — photos, drills, practice plans, chat messages, direct messages, forum and feed posts, and comments.
Purchase information— if you subscribe, purchases are processed by Apple. We receive subscription status (for example "Pro active") from our subscription manager, never your full payment details.
Device information — a push notification token if you enable notifications, and basic technical logs needed to operate and secure the service.

2. Children's privacy

Tactix11 is built for youth and amateur sports, so team content often includes information about minors (names, jersey numbers, stats, and photos). This content is added and controlled by the team's coaches, managers, and parents — who must have the right to share it — and is visible only to members of that team unless a coach deliberately publishes a public team page.

Children under 13 may not create their own Tactix11 account. A parent or legal guardian may create and manage a profile for their child. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, or that a child's information was added without proper consent, contact us and we will remove it promptly.

3. How we use information

To provide the service: schedules, rosters, stats, messaging, media, and team pages.
To sync your data between the app and the website.
To send notifications you have enabled (for example a coach announcement or a direct message).
To manage subscriptions and unlock features you purchased.
To keep the platform safe: preventing abuse, enforcing our terms, and securing accounts.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your content for advertising.

4. How information is shared

With your team — team content is visible to members of your team according to their role. Coaches control rosters and team settings.
Public team pages — a coach can publish a public web page for the team. Every section of a public page is opt-in; nothing is published automatically.
Community areas — posts to The XI (our community feed) and the forums are visible to other signed-in Tactix11 users.
Service providers — we use Supabase (database, authentication, and storage), Vercel (website hosting), Expo (push notification delivery), RevenueCat (subscription management), and Apple (payments). Each receives only what it needs to perform its function.
Legal requirements — we may disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety of our users.

5. Data retention and deletion

Your data is retained while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account at any time in the app (Account → Delete Account) — this removes your account, memberships, messages, and personal content. Team data created for a team (like match results) stays with the team. You can also email us to request deletion, including deletion of a child's information.

6. Security

All data is encrypted in transit. Access to team data is enforced at the database level with row-level security, so members can only reach the data their role allows. No system is 100% secure, but we design for least access by default.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including the EU/EEA, UK, and California), you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to certain processing. You can exercise most of these directly in the app; for anything else, email us and we will respond within 30 days. We do not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

8. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and notify you in the app or by email before the changes take effect.
